David M. Feldbaum, MD, FACS, is a 1993-graduate of SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY. His postgraduate training includes his general surgery residency served at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, NY (1993-1998), as well as his vascular surgery fellowship performed at the Carolinas Heart Institute in North Carolina. Dr. Feldbaum completed his undergraduate education at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, in 1989. He attained board certification in vascular surgery with the American Board of Surgery. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Feldbaum is a member of the Florida Vascular Society and the South Florida Vascular Society. Furthermore, he has been honored with the C. Gillon Ward Resident Education Award (Dewitt Daughtry Family Department of Surgery, 2005), the Leo Davidorf Award for the Surgical Teaching of Medical Students (Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine, 1998), the Association of Academic Surgeons Research Award (1993), and the American Federation for Clinical Research Medical Student Award (1992), among others.
